DJ: Full job description

The Lopez Residence is an exciting new space offering a unique blend of ambiance, entertainment, and culture. We’re looking for talented DJs to set the perfect vibe for our events, bringing a fresh, dynamic energy that aligns with the spirit of our venue. Our events range from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations, and we are seeking someone who can seamlessly blend genres and curate music that keeps guests engaged and energized. We need a DJ on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 PM to 1:30 AM.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong appreciation for House music (Deep, Disco, Funky, Afro, Melodic) and a broad knowledge of genres like electronic, hip-hop, and indie.

• Create tailored music sets that suit different events and audiences.

• Collaborate with event coordinators to ensure music aligns with the event theme and atmosphere.

• Operate and manage DJ equipment to deliver high-quality sound.

• Adjust music flow based on crowd reactions to keep the energy high.

• Maintain a diverse and up-to-date music library.

• Punctual, reliable, and professional in all aspects of the role.

• Blend popular tracks with underground hits to keep the dance floor lively.

• Prioritize passion and taste in music over formal experience.

• Strong understanding of sound systems and the ability to read and adapt to crowds.

• Flexible to work late evenings, weekends, and during special events.
